National Account Development Executive

We are seeking an experienced Defence Industry Liaison Specialist to join our team as a National Account Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with major national organisations, driving business growth and supporting the Defence Relationship Management (DRM) initiative.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders across corporate, public, political, and military sectors. They will be responsible for actively managing relationships with identified major national organisations, working closely with regional colleagues to deliver multi-layered partnerships across key accounts.
We offer a competitive salary package of £70,000 per annum, plus benefits such as 25 days' annual leave and access to the Confederation of Service Charities' pension scheme. The successful candidate will also be entitled to special paid leave for Reserve and Cadet Forces Training.
The DRM programme is designed to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships between large national organisations and the Ministry of Defence (MOD). As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for tailoring the Defence-employer proposition to individual organisations, maximising attractiveness and ensuring genuine mutual benefit.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with major national organisations
- Actively managing relationships with identified major national organisations
- Working closely with regional colleagues to deliver multi-layered partnerships across key accounts
