Senior Carer Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Carer to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. This is a key role that requires strong leadership skills, compassion, and commitment to delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Job Summary:

  • Lead a team of care staff and provide guidance and support
  • Administer and order medication as required
  • Review and update resident care plans and risk assessments
  • Liaise with GP's, district nursing teams, and resident family members

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
  • Previous experience in a residential care setting
  • Proven team leadership skills and decision-making abilities
  • Warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to individualised care

Salary and Benefits:

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus benefits package including free training, retail discounts, and referral scheme.
