Job Title: Senior Night Care Assistant
We are seeking an experienced and caring Senior Night Care Assistant to join our team at Templemore Care Home in Northampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents while promoting independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Shift Accountability:
    • Conduct a walking handover, ensuring all residents are accounted for at the start and end of the shift.
  • Training and Development:
    • Support the training and development of all staff.
    • Ensure the implementation and monitoring of the in-house training program to a high standard.
  • Personal Care and Safety:
    • Support residents with all aspects of personal care while promoting independence.
    • Conduct regular checks throughout the night for each resident's individual needs.
  • Documentation:
    • Ensure all night documentation is completed and signed for.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of all records required to be kept by CQC.

Essential Attributes:
  • Minimum of NVQ Level 2, working towards NVQ Level 3 or above.
