About the Job:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Residential Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for leading a team of care staff and providing person-centred care and support to our residents.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of care staff, including training, supervision and delegating duties on shift.
  • Support with the administering and ordering of medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessments, and liaising with GP's, district nursing teams and resident family members.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • Previous experience in a residential care setting.
  • Proven team leadership skills and ability to make appropriate decisions.
