About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Respite Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Respite Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care and support during respite periods. Your responsibilities will include monitoring the delivery of care, contributing to person-centred care planning, and recording observations. You will also be responsible for providing support and companionship to residents, which is essential for their overall wellbeing.

We are looking for someone with a background in care, preferably with a Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care or equivalent. A good understanding of elderly care and the wider healthcare industry is also essential. Ideally, you should have a C or above in GCSE English and Maths. If you are dedicated, compassionate, and passionate about people, we would love to hear from you.

Salary: £24,000 - £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
