Diversity and Inclusion Expert Leader
The Direct Line Group is seeking an experienced Diversity and Inclusion Expert Leader to join our team. As a key member of our HR function, you will be responsible for leading our diversity and inclusion initiatives, developing and implementing strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, and working closely with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions to drive cultural transformation.

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our company culture and contribute to our mission of being a customer-obsessed market powerhouse. The successful candidate will have a strong background in DEI, with experience in developing and implementing strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The salary for this role is approximately £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include 9% employer-contributed pension, 50% off home, motor, and pet insurance, and additional health and dental insurance options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive DEI strategy to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
  • Lead initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace culture, including employee resource groups, training programs, and community outreach.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in DEI.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions to drive cultural transformation.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in DEI, with a strong background in strategy development and implementation.
  • Proven track record of driving cultural transformation and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
