Computerworld Personnel Ltd is a leading recruitment agency specializing in IT and technical placements. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Help Desk Professional to join our team.
About the Role
This permanent position offers a salary of up to £27,000 per annum, with opportunities for career advancement. As a Technical Help Desk Professional, you will be required to work on site 5 days a week, providing technical support to clients in Somerset.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to clients via phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Respond to Tickets: Efficiently respond to and resolve client queries.
- IT Administration: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updating OS and software.
- Monitor Systems: Monitor system performance and escalate issues when necessary.
- Documentation: Maintain and develop documentation to ensure knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in providing excellent customer service.
- IT Service Desk Experience: Familiarity with ticketing systems and trouble-shooting techniques.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
