Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Professional to join our dynamic IT team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and technical support to our staff and students.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our IT teams to resolve technical issues, improve our services, and implement best practices in ITIL.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Provide high-quality technical support to staff and students via various channels.
  2. Collaborate with our IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve our services.
  3. Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
  4. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • In-depth knowledge of IT concepts and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Benefits and Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £24,285 - £25,335 per annum, along with benefits including 35 days annual leave, 8 bank holidays, access to a local government pension scheme, and more.
