Marketplace Growth Opportunity

Amazon is seeking a skilled Marketplace Growth Specialist to join our Strategic Account Services team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with a portfolio of 12-14 businesses to help them grow and succeed on Amazon.

Our team provides strategic advice with a data-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused approach. We focus on topics like portfolio optimization, product presentation, advertising strategy, promotions, fulfillment strategy, and brand building. As a Marketplace Growth Specialist, you will advise our sellers on how to maximize their potential and achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for growth and provide strategic recommendations to our sellers.
  • Implement and track metrics to measure the success and quality of our sellers.
  • Identify, qualify, and engage with prospective sellers for our Strategic Account Services program.
  • Manage additional projects around our Paid Services, including process improvements, tool and content development, competitive analysis, and sales analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales or account management in e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS, or software.
  • Strong analytical skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven ability to influence at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level.
  • Passion for developing an engaging customer user experience and ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements.
  • Ability to work in a complex, cross-functional team environment, chasing down and following up on dependencies, mitigating risks, and escalating when necessary.
