About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Employment Coach to join our team at Maximus UK. As an Employment Coach, you will play a critical role in supporting customers to address their barriers to employment and achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Support: Provide individualized support to customers to help them overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career goals.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Use coaching and mentoring skills to empower customers to take control of their careers and make informed decisions about their employment.
  • Job Placement: Work with customers to identify employment opportunities and support them in securing and sustaining employment.
  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of customers and provide ongoing support to help them achieve their employment goals.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Work with multiple agencies and stakeholders to develop holistic approaches to support customers and achieve employment outcomes.
  • Marketing and Outreach: Use marketing and outreach skills to promote employment opportunities and support customers in securing employment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure that the service continues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve employment outcomes.
Requirements
  • Essential: Empowers and inspires others, builds effective relationships, analytical thinking and problem-solving, planning and organizing, digital literacy skills, experience of working in a target-driven environment, experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs, understanding of how to affect positive behavior change, quality and compliance, GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at grade 'C' or above, strong commitment to personal and professional development, commitment to develop and implement equal opportunities policy and anti-discriminatory practices in employment and service delivery.
  • Desirable: Member of IEP, emotional intelligence, knowledge of the labour market, wider provision in the local area, experience of securing employment opportunities for a wide range of individuals, Level 3 Award in Employability Services Sector or equivalent.
