About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Employment Coach to join our team at Maximus UK. As an Employment Coach, you will play a critical role in supporting customers to address their barriers to employment and achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Support: Provide individualized support to customers to help them overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career goals.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Use coaching and mentoring skills to empower customers to take control of their careers and make informed decisions about their employment.
  • Job Placement: Work with customers to identify job opportunities and provide support to help them secure and sustain employment.
  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of customers and provide ongoing support to help them achieve their employment goals.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Work with multiple agencies and stakeholders to develop holistic approaches to support customers and achieve employment outcomes.
  • Marketing and Outreach: Use marketing and outreach skills to promote the services of Maximus UK and attract new customers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure that the service continues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve employment outcomes.

  • Demonstrates effective questioning skills: Use effective questioning skills to empower customers to take control of their careers and make informed decisions about their employment.
  • Demonstrates effective coaching and mentoring skills: Use coaching and mentoring skills to empower customers to take control of their careers and make informed decisions about their employment.
  • High level of digital literacy skills: Use digital literacy skills to promote the services of Maximus UK and attract new customers.
  • Experience or ability to cold call and close agreements with employers: Use marketing and outreach skills to promote the services of Maximus UK and attract new customers.
  • Demonstrates the ability to market specific attributes of customers to employers: Use marketing and outreach skills to promote the services of Maximus UK and attract new customers.
  • Experience of working in a target driven environment: Work in a target-driven environment to achieve employment outcomes and provide ongoing support to customers.
  • Experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs: Work with customers who have multiple and complex needs to provide ongoing support and achieve employment outcomes.
  • Understanding of how to affect positive behaviour change: Use coaching and mentoring skills to empower customers to take control of their careers and make informed decisions about their employment.
  • Quality & Compliance: Understanding of the requirement for accurate completion of paperwork and contract compliance: Ensure that all paperwork and contracts are completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at grade 'C' or above or equivalent qualification or experience: Possess a GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at grade 'C' or above or equivalent qualification or experience.
