OBM People is seeking a Strategic Business Growth Manager to lead business development activities and pursue new business opportunities in the UK and internationally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the energy sector, evaluating, analyzing, and formulating business development strategies for business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Executing business development strategy plans through proactive approaches and visiting clients to sell services and operations.
  • Managing the bidding, tendering, and pricing process for specialist services requirements, with support from Group commercial when requested.
  • Producing regular forecasts of activity (sales pipeline) and communicating upcoming work effectively to business managers and the Specialist Services Management team.

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. To be successful, you will need to demonstrate a customer-focused approach, with a proven track record within a sales or business development environment. You will also require extensive knowledge of, and experience working with, Operators and Consultancy firms within the Oil and Gas Industry.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining positive and professional work and client relationships.
  • Experience managing, coaching, and leading sales teams, and accustomed to working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
