We are currently seeking a seasoned and driven Account Director to enhance our expanding team. This role involves collaborating with our partner networks and publishers to achieve results that align with our clients' business goals. Additionally, you will work closely with the Affiliate Director to present and onboard new clients, as well as to expand our own business portfolio. The clientele includes prominent brands in fashion, beauty, and technology.

This position is ideal for an experienced candidate from the network side who is eager to transition into a multi-channel agency, gaining a comprehensive understanding of client marketing activities while leading a team of specialists. The affiliate department is rapidly growing, and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in helping us further establish our presence while enhancing the agency's affiliate initiatives.

As this role encompasses international territories, proficiency in additional languages would be advantageous, though not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and mentor your team to meet performance expectations.
  • Encourage the growth and effectiveness of direct reports; delegate responsibilities appropriately, utilizing performance management tools.
  • Utilize affiliate and network relationships to generate opportunities for enhanced ROI, additional revenue growth, and increased visibility across various affiliate platforms.
  • Ensure key internal teams are well-informed and trained to effectively identify affiliate opportunities.
  • Provide senior oversight and management of a portfolio comprising UK and international clients, including managing programs through network partners and account managers, as well as directly through technology partners such as Partnerize and Awin.
  • Lead client strategy development, implementation, and performance forecasting.
  • Engage in both short-term and long-term planning and tactics with your team to achieve client objectives.
  • Assist in preparing new business proposals and pitches.
  • Facilitate smooth launches and transitions of new programs following business acquisitions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with publishers.
  • Conduct daily checks and reporting on client performance.
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities for clients to leverage.
  • Research seasonal market trends and new geographical insights.
  • Perform post-campaign analysis and reporting for clients.
  • Manage the performance and development of direct reports.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with at least one of the following network platforms is essential: Partnerize, Impact, Awin, CJ, Rakuten, or similar.
  • Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks and projects while overseeing others.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of interpreting client briefs and clearly conveying details of partnerships, promotions, and campaigns to partners and publishers. Able to set expectations and communicate issues or delays to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, publishers, and business partners.
  • Experienced in working with one or more affiliate platforms and technologies.
  • Adaptable and confident, with a commitment to enhancing knowledge and expertise within the department.
  • Experience and understanding of influencer marketing or B2B marketing would be advantageous.
