We are currently seeking a seasoned and driven Account Director to enhance our expanding team. This role involves collaborating with our partner networks and publishers to achieve results that align with our clients' business goals. Additionally, you will work closely with the Affiliate Director to pitch and onboard new clients, thereby contributing to our business growth. Our client portfolio features prominent brands in fashion, beauty, and technology.

This position is ideal for an experienced candidate from the network side who aspires to transition into a multi-channel agency environment, gaining a comprehensive understanding of client marketing activities while leading a team of specialists. The affiliate department is among the fastest-growing sectors, and the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in solidifying our position while expanding the agency's affiliate initiatives.

As this role encompasses international territories, proficiency in additional languages would be advantageous, though not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and mentor your team to meet performance expectations.
  • Encourage the growth and performance of direct reports; delegate responsibilities effectively, utilizing performance management tools.
  • Utilize affiliate and network relationships to create opportunities for enhanced ROI, incremental revenue growth, and increased visibility across various affiliate platforms.
  • Ensure key internal teams receive adequate training and visibility to effectively identify affiliate opportunities.
  • Provide senior oversight and management of a portfolio comprising UK and international clients, including managing programs through network partners and account managers, as well as directly through technology partners such as Partnerize and Awin.
  • Lead client strategy development, implementation, and performance forecasting.
  • Conduct both short-term and long-term planning with your team to achieve client objectives.
  • Assist in crafting new business proposals and pitches.
  • Facilitate smooth launches and migrations of new programs following business wins.
  • Build and maintain relationships with publishers.
  • Perform daily checks and reporting on client business.
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities for clients to leverage.
  • Research seasonal sector trends and new geographical market insights.
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis and reporting for clients.
  • Manage the performance and development of direct reports.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with at least one of the following network platforms is essential: Partnerize, Impact, Awin, CJ, Rakuten, or similar.
  • Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks and projects while overseeing others.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of interpreting client briefs and clearly conveying details of partnerships, promotions, and campaigns to partners and publishers. Able to set expectations and communicate issues or delays effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain and cultivate strong relationships with clients, publishers, and business partners.
  • Experienced in working with one or multiple affiliate platforms and technologies.
  • Adaptable and confident, with a commitment to enhancing knowledge and expertise within the department.
  • Experience and knowledge in either influencer marketing or B2B marketing would be beneficial.
