Role Overview

As a key player in our growth strategy, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying Opportunities: Engaging in negotiations and securing both freehold and leasehold properties to facilitate the establishment of new retail locations.
  • Site Evaluation: Conducting thorough site inspections and development assessments, while managing all legal and planning due diligence for potential acquisitions.
  • Planning Management: Overseeing the entire lifecycle of planning applications, from initial submission to obtaining necessary consents and fulfilling conditions.
  • Project Leadership: Taking charge of all expansion, relocation, and enhancement initiatives related to our existing infrastructure.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivating and sustaining robust connections with local authorities, real estate agents, landlords, tenants, and developers.
  • Development Process Oversight: Steering the complete development and planning process from concept inception to final project delivery.
  • Asset Management: Administering the real estate portfolio of our freehold and leasehold properties.

Qualifications Required

  • A proactive and ambitious mindset with a strong drive for success.
  • A degree-level qualification (minimum 2:2) in a relevant field.
  • Essential experience in retail acquisitions, land procurement, commercial real estate, or urban planning.
  • MRICS qualification is preferred.
  • A well-connected professional with exceptional negotiation capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of commercial property and legal matters.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
  • A keen analytical perspective.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and navigate conflicting deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel across the UK.
