Role Overview

As a key player in our expansion efforts, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and negotiating the acquisition of both freehold and leasehold properties to facilitate the establishment of new locations.
  • Conducting thorough site evaluations, development assessments, and managing all legal and planning due diligence related to potential acquisitions.
  • Overseeing the entire lifecycle of planning applications, from initial submission to securing consent and fulfilling any conditions.
  • Taking ownership of and leading various projects aimed at expanding, relocating, and enhancing our existing infrastructure.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with local authorities, real estate agents, landlords, tenants, and developers.
  • Driving the comprehensive development and planning process from initial concept through to successful completion.
  • Managing our portfolio of freehold and leasehold assets effectively.

Qualifications Required

  • A proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong desire to achieve results.
  • A degree-level qualification (minimum 2:2) in a relevant field.
  • Essential experience in retail acquisitions, land procurement, commercial real estate, or urban planning.
  • MRICS qualification is preferred.
  • A well-connected professional with exceptional negotiation abilities.
  • Strong understanding of commercial property and legal matters.
  • Excellent communication and organizational capabilities.
  • A highly analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel across the UK.
