Position Title: Lead Marketing Strategist

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Lead Marketing Strategist will be instrumental in refining and executing our marketing vision. This role encompasses overseeing the marketing team, crafting and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that resonate with our audience and drive engagement, sales, and brand loyalty.

The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset and a proven history in marketing leadership, particularly within the retail or gift card sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Leadership:

  • Formulate and implement strategic marketing initiatives to meet business goals and stimulate growth.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
  • Direct the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and traditional advertising.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive dynamics.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Sales, Product Development, and Customer Service, to ensure unified marketing efforts.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and return on investment.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, leveraging data to enhance strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to amplify marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee integrated marketing campaign management across B2B, Consumer, and Brand, including diagnosis, strategy, tactics, creative direction, execution, and analysis.

Revenue Generation and Customer Engagement:

  • Enhance brand visibility and drive traffic through various channels, including paid search, SEO, digital, print, and out-of-home advertising.
  • Boost unprompted brand recognition.
  • Manage CRM for cold and lapsed lead generation, analyzing success metrics and evolving content strategies.
  • Track lead conversion rates and adjust campaigns as necessary.
  • Organize the acquisition and utilization of new prospect data.
  • Achieve lead and revenue targets consistently.
  • Expand social media reach and engagement across all platforms.

Team Management:

  • Oversee a small team with dedication, managing workloads, setting objectives, conducting reviews, and providing mentorship.

Data and Financial Management:

  • Analyze consumer and client behaviors to refine customer personas.
  • Manage inbound data effectively.
  • Create insights based on performance measurements.
  • Oversee data management and cleansing processes.
  • Deliver regular reports on marketing effectiveness.
  • Prepare and manage campaign budgets efficiently.

Event Management:

  • Plan, execute, and analyze exhibitions and events.
  • Manage participation in industry events, including lead generation strategies, space acquisition, stand creation, and event support.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will possess:

5+ years of experience as a Marketing Manager with a strong background in integrated marketing campaign planning and execution.

Experience in B2B, Brand, and Consumer marketing.

Exceptional copywriting and proofreading abilities.

A deep understanding of inbound and acquisition marketing strategies.

Proven skills in crafting creative briefs.

Experience managing a small team and collaborating with external vendors.

Proficiency in data analysis and presentation, particularly with Google Analytics.

Strong Excel skills, including vlookup.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a marketing agency, particularly in Incentive/Reward and Recognition.

Website management proficiency.

Adept problem-solving skills and the ability to present solutions effectively.

Familiarity with Zoho CRM software.

Comprehensive knowledge of brand management.
