Talent Acquisition Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Strategist to join our global recruitment team at Howden. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end recruitment solutions to find the best talent for our business.
Key Responsibilities- Spearhead New TA Initiatives: Partner with the Group TA COE and HRD to develop and implement new talent acquisition strategies, focusing on emerging talent, inclusive hiring practices, employer brand, onboarding, and other areas as needed.
- Drive Recruitment Best Practice: Embed and promote our enhanced recruitment model, demonstrating ROI continuously, and work with senior stakeholders to build the TA team brand and encourage hiring managers to engage with the in-house TA team at all levels.
- Diagnose Talent Acquisition Performance: Analyze talent acquisition performance to build strategic and innovative recruiting plans that deliver on required hiring needs, and partner with leadership teams to understand staffing needs and priorities to develop both short-term and long-term recruiting strategies.
- Build Talent Pipelines: Proactively build talent pipelines in line with hiring needs and capability requirements, and collaborate with the HR team to review and refine the hiring processes to build a more consistent and scalable talent acquisition model for the reinsurance business.
- Employer Brand Ambassador: Be an employer brand ambassador for the group, delivering a first-class candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process, and be an active contributor and influencer in the recruitment process, providing best practice advice to hiring managers, advising on appropriate selection methods, leading interviews, and influencing decisions to ensure an inclusive hiring process.
- Strategic Talent Acquisition Initiatives: Lead on strategic talent acquisition initiatives, working with other CoE's & HRBP's, which align to the wider integrated HR Plan built to drive business growth and a high-performance culture.
- Recruiting Metrics and Analytics: Utilize recruiting metrics and analytics to provide insights that support strategic decision-making and improve the talent acquisition experience/process.
- Senior Recruiter Experience: Be an experienced senior recruiter with the ability to identify great talent - both for current and future roles.
- Track Record of Implementing New Hiring Processes: Track record of implementing new hiring processes and procedures, ensuring a high-touch hiring manager and candidate experience.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically beyond the daily requirements, supporting the HR Director and Group Head of Talent Acquisition on delivery of strategic initiatives and projects.
- Collaborative Team Player: Be an enthusiastic and collaborative team player with a strong drive and ambition to create a positive work environment and to deliver results.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrable ability to manage various stakeholder groups and shifting priorities.
- Communication and Influencing Skills: Outstanding communication and influencing skills.
- Adaptability: Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, being able to generate a quality pipeline of candidates under tight time constraints, and be able to adapt your style, think on your feet, and have a can-do mentality.
- Candidate Experience: Ability to provide exceptional candidate experiences throughout the entire hiring process.
