(Senior) Associate, Global IT Asset Management

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a renowned global professional services firm that excels in turnaround and interim management, performance enhancement, and business advisory solutions. Our dedicated Global IT Asset Management ("ITAM") team is focused on managing and optimizing IT assets throughout their entire lifecycle for our internal stakeholders across various levels.

We are currently seeking a (Senior) Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will concentrate on infrastructure procurement, possess project management capabilities, and demonstrate the ability to cultivate and manage relationships across diverse internal departments and stakeholders. This role will report to the IT Asset Management Lead and will be part of a global team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement of infrastructure, network, and audiovisual equipment for real estate projects
  • Acquisition of laptops in accordance with global standards and catalog
  • Provision of services related to network and audiovisual equipment for real estate projects as required
  • Software procurement associated with the aforementioned hardware
  • Management of maintenance contracts related to the hardware
  • Tracking of orders
  • Collaboration with real estate, engineering, field services, and other stakeholders as necessary
  • Compliance with IT policies, processes, contracts, negotiations, and management of service level agreements and suppliers
  • Financial chargeback management

Qualifications:

  • Experience in global procurement or vendor management
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow is preferred
  • Understanding of project management principles
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Capability to interact and communicate effectively with all organizational levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
