About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Asset Management Specialist to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As an IT Asset Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our hardware and software assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Tracking and Auditing: Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to retirement or disposal, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Software License Management: Monitor software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor agreements and optimize license usage to minimize costs.
  • Regular Audits and Compliance: Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of asset inventories and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Analysis and Optimization: Analyze asset usage patterns and identify opportunities to optimize resources and reduce costs without compromising performance.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the IT Service Manager to evaluate current processes and procedures, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective asset management practices.
  • Culture and Collaboration: Help drive better practices and culture across the organization by embedding ITAM into all existing processes, including new starters, leavers, procurement, and projects.
