About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Asset Management Specialist to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As an IT Asset Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our hardware and software assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Tracking and Auditing: Maintain accurate records of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses, to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to retirement or disposal, to optimize resource utilization and minimize costs.
  • Software License Management: Monitor software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor agreements and optimize license usage to minimize costs.
  • Regular Audits and Compliance: Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of asset inventories and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Analysis and Optimization: Analyze asset usage patterns and identify opportunities to optimize resources and reduce costs without compromising performance.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the IT Service Manager to evaluate current processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement effective asset management practices.
Requirements
  • Collaborative Team Player: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess knowledge of hardware and software asset management practices, including asset lifecycle management and software license management.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with hardware and software asset management tools or systems, as well as Microsoft Office desktop tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in an IT Asset Management coordinator, specialist, or similar role.
