About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  1. Asset Tracking and Management: You will be responsible for tracking and managing all IT assets owned by the organisation, including hardware, software, and licenses.
  2. Asset Lifecycle Management: You will manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to retirement or disposal.
  3. Software License Management: You will monitor software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor agreements and optimize license usage to minimize costs.
  4. Regular Audits: You will conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of asset inventories and ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
  5. Analysis and Optimization: You will analyze asset usage patterns and identify opportunities to optimize resources and reduce costs without compromising performance.
  6. Process Improvement: You will review existing Asset Management processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and help implement effective asset management practices.
  7. Culture and Practices: You will help drive better practices and culture across the organisation by embedding ITAM into all existing processes, including new starters, leavers, procurement, and projects.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an IT Asset management coordinator, specialist, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of Hardware Asset lifecycle from request to disposal.
  • Knowledge of software management practices, ensuring optimal use and compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Experience of using hardware and software asset management tools or systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office desktop tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
