About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As an IT Asset Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our IT assets, from procurement to retirement or disposal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Monitor software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor agreements and optimize license usage to minimize costs.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of asset inventories and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze asset usage patterns and identify opportunities to optimize resources and reduce costs without compromising performance.
  • Collaborate with the IT Service Manager to evaluate current processes and procedures, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective asset management practices.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an IT Asset Management Coordinator, Specialist, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of hardware asset lifecycle from request to disposal.
  • Knowledge of software management practices, ensuring optimal use and compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Experience of using hardware and software asset management tools or systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office desktop tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
