About the Role

AJ Bell Management Limited is seeking a highly skilled IT Asset Management Specialist to join our team. As an IT Asset Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our IT assets, including hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities
  1. IT Asset Tracking and Auditing: Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all IT assets, including hardware and software, to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  2. Hardware and Software Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to retirement or disposal, to ensure optimal utilization and minimize costs.
  3. Software License Management: Monitor and optimize software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor agreements and minimize costs.
  4. Regular Audits and Compliance: Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of asset inventories and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  5. Analysis and Optimization: Analyze asset usage patterns and identify opportunities to optimize resources and reduce costs without compromising performance.
  6. Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve existing Asset Management processes and procedures to ensure they are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  7. Culture and Practices: Help drive better practices and culture across the organization by embedding ITAM into all existing processes, including new starters, leavers, procurement, and projects.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an IT Asset management coordinator, specialist, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of Hardware Asset lifecycle from request to disposal.
  • Knowledge of software management practices, ensuring optimal use and compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Experience of using hardware and software asset management tools or systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office desktop tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
