About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and driven IT Asset Management Specialist to join our team at AJ Bell. This role is ideal for someone who excels in asset management, has strong analytical skills, and can contribute to enhancing our IT asset management practices.

The successful candidate will collaborate with existing team members to ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day tasks related to hardware and software asset management. Responsibilities include tracking and auditing assets, managing asset lifecycle, optimizing license usage, conducting audits, analyzing usage patterns, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track all IT assets including hardware, software, and licenses
  • Manage asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal
  • Monitor software licenses for compliance and cost optimization
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Analyze asset usage patterns for optimization
  • Review existing asset management processes for improvement
  • Embed ITAM into all processes across the organization
  • Forecast budget requirements and support supplier management activities

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in IT asset management
  • Knowledge of hardware and software asset lifecycle
  • Experience with asset management tools/systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Atlassian tools
  • ITIL V3/4 certification a plus
