We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated professional in a well-established facility that offers 43 beds for residential and memory support care. Our welcoming environment ensures comfort for residents, including those living with dementia who require specialized assistance. We are devoted to providing high-quality care while fostering a nurturing atmosphere for both residents and staff.

Your Role:

As an Administration Officer, your responsibilities will include managing reception duties, organizing files, performing data entry, maintaining records, and executing various general administrative tasks, all while contributing to a friendly and respectful environment. You will engage with staff, residents, their families, and visitors, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported. A friendly, patient, and adaptable attitude is essential, along with the capability to manage interruptions gracefully while maintaining a professional demeanor.

The successful candidate will be offered a permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for incoming calls and visitors.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, including processing purchase orders.
  • Serve as a contact for resident inquiries, directing them to the appropriate Manager/Supervisor.
  • Conduct general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, document preparation, note-taking, and photocopying.
  • Input and maintain records to ensure compliance with both internal and external reporting standards.
  • Uphold health, safety, and quality standards in all tasks.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the aged care sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills and a keen understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong and confident communication skills.
  • Dependable and punctual.
