Job Overview

Purpose of the Role

The primary objective is to ensure the systematic and effective execution of all operational tasks while fostering positive relationships with clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities


• Review and oversee the mobilisation process.


• Support the management of operations on-site.


• Act as a liaison with clients during operations.


• Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.


• Supervise the safety and performance of junior personnel.


• Manage daily operational functions assigned to team members.


• Provide guidance and assistance to site crew as needed.


• Monitor tasks and activities on-site.


• Empower team members to achieve their objectives.


• Foster and enhance team dynamics.


• Ensure adherence to the Quality and HSE Management System by following established procedures.


• Mentor and coach junior crew members.


• Maintain proficiency in the operation and upkeep of relevant equipment.


• Strategically position equipment and containers to minimize disruption while ensuring safety protocols are followed.


• Perform job-specific calculations as required.


• Conduct regular maintenance on equipment.


• Verify equipment specifications and ensure certification for operational use.


• Assist in the completion of necessary documentation to the required standards.


• Ensure operations are conducted under the appropriate permit to work system.


• Manage equipment inventory and oversee safe backloading from the site.


• Contribute to project documentation, including Quality Plans, Risk Assessments, and Safe Job Analysis.


• Execute responsibilities in alignment with company policies, protocols, and emergency procedures.


• Travel as necessary to other company locations.


• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Essential:

Basic Secondary Education. Preferred:

College Diploma or higher.

Experience Required

Essential:

Experience in the Oil & Gas sector, both onshore and offshore.

Ability to interpret P&ID's and Isometric Drawings.

Experience in Nitrogen Operations offshore.

Familiarity with Line Walk and Punch List systems. Preferred:

Capability to perform job-specific calculations.

Strong technical knowledge of Diesel engines.

Personal Skills

Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.

Prior experience in the Oil and Gas industry is essential.

Willingness to undertake offshore assignments.

Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.

Enthusiastic and committed to the role.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.

Proficient in building strong interdepartmental relationships.

Confident and articulate communicator.

Good diplomatic skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Experience in advising and supporting senior management.

Proactive with meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.

Sound technical knowledge of Pipeline and Process Testing operations and associated equipment.

Experience in a project environment is advantageous.

A strong focus on quality and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
