Offshore Survey Technician - Exciting Opportunity

We are thrilled to present an amazing job opportunity from our client, a renowned provider of equipment rental solutions, advanced underwater technologies, and support services. They are currently seeking an Offshore Survey Technician to join their team in Westhill, Aberdeenshire on a full-time, permanent basis.

In this role, you will play a vital role in the Asset Integrity team, working closely with senior technicians to ensure smooth workshop operations and offer technical support to clients. Additionally, you will have the chance to contribute to the development of new products and services using cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Testing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing subsea, survey, and hydrographic equipment
  • Interpretation of technical diagrams and manuals
  • Documentation of equipment status and completion of work orders
  • Compliance with safety regulations and calibration standards
  • Management of stock control and spares
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or similar field
  • Experience in repairing electronic equipment, preferably in a subsea setting
  • Strong knowledge of subsea equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
