Exciting Opportunity to Join a Leading Charity Retailer

Salary: £41,363 per annum based on experience plus additional benefits including car allowance.

Hours: 35 Hours per week – Full Time

Our client is a prominent and expanding charity retailer. They are currently seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Regional Retail Operations Manager, overseeing stores across Surrey, Sussex, Suffolk & London.

In this pivotal position, reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be instrumental in executing the Retail Strategy, with responsibilities encompassing all facets of performance in your designated area, including revenue, profitability, team management, customer engagement, promotions, logistics, and operational standards. You will foster and cherish relationships with customers and donors, ensuring an exceptional experience that reflects the values of the charity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize commercial insight and innovative thinking to enhance sales and optimize profits by supporting shops within your region to reach their maximum potential.
  • Inspire and empower shop teams to meet their objectives through effective leadership.
  • Oversee approximately 17 shops and demonstrate flexibility in travel throughout the region.
Qualifications for Regional Retail Operations Manager:
  • Demonstrated success in retail management across multiple locations.
  • Experience in charity retail is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient in situational leadership of both staff and volunteers.
  • Skilled in relationship building through effective communication and influence.
  • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in IT and adept at utilizing reports.
  • Inspirational leader committed to developing teams for sustained success.
  • Willingness to adapt working hours and possess a full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes.
