Regional Retail Operations Manager - Fixed Term Contract
Location: London and South East England
Salary: £41,363 per annum dependent on experience plus benefits including car allowance.
Hours: 35 Hours per week - Full Time

Our client, a prominent and expanding charity retailer, is seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Regional Retail Operations Manager, overseeing multiple locations across Surrey, Sussex, Suffolk & London.

In this pivotal position, reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you will be instrumental in executing the Retail Strategy, taking full responsibility for all performance metrics in your designated area. This includes managing turnover, profitability, customer engagement, promotional activities, logistics, and operational standards. Your role will focus on fostering strong relationships with customers and donors, ensuring an exceptional experience that reflects the values of the charity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize commercial insight and innovative thinking to enhance sales and optimize profits by supporting retail locations in reaching their maximum potential.
  • Inspire and empower retail teams to meet their objectives through effective leadership.
  • Oversee approximately 17 retail locations and maintain flexibility for regional travel.

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated success in retail management across multiple locations.
  • Experience in charity retail is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to lead and motivate staff and volunteers in various situations.
  • Strong relationship-building skills through effective communication and influence.
  • Proficient numerical and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Competence in IT and the ability to interpret and utilize reports.
  • Aspiring leader who cultivates teams for sustainable success.
  • Willingness to adapt working hours and possess a full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
