Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trip Leader Training Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and coaching trip leaders to deliver high-quality tours of Great Britain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hiring and Training: Identify, hire, and train trip leaders to meet the company's quality standards.
  • Coaching and Performance Management: Provide coaching and performance management to trip leaders to ensure they meet the company's guidelines and achieve excellence goals.
  • Team Management: Create and manage a high-performing team of trip leaders who embody the company's culture and values.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with trip leaders, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Evaluate and act on quality issues from customer and trip leader feedback.
  • Support and Reporting: Provide support to trip delivery and development, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to the head office.

Requirements

  • Strong Knowledge of UK: Possess in-depth knowledge of the UK, its culture, and its attractions.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Training and Coaching: Strong training and coaching skills to develop trip leaders' skills and knowledge.
  • Performance Management: Experience in performance management to drive results and achieve excellence goals.
  • Travel Industry Experience: Proven experience in the travel industry, with a focus on staff management and customer service.
  • Interpersonal and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills to resolve customer and operational issues.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
