Job Opportunity:

Grand Circle Corporation is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Trip Leader Training Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for hiring and training Trip Leaders to deliver exceptional tours of Great Britain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance Trip Leader performance and quality
  • Coach Trip Leaders to exceed traveler expectations and achieve company excellence goals
  • Manage Trip Leader performance and provide feedback to ensure alignment with company guidelines
  • Build and lead a high-performing Trip Leader team that embodies our company culture and values
  • Collaborate with vendors and Trip Leaders to ensure seamless tour delivery
  • Evaluate and address quality issues based on traveler and Trip Leader feedback
  • Support trip delivery and development, including on-site interactions with travelers
  • Report key performance indicators to head office
  • Travel with Trip Leaders and groups as needed to provide coaching and support

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the UK and its culture
  • Excellent training and coaching skills
  • Experience in performance management and staff development
  • Proven track record in the travel industry, with a focus on staff management and quality assurance
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
