Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Deputy General Manager to join our team at Promote People. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our golf resort, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and driving sales and membership growth.

About the Role

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the golf resort, including supervising staff and ensuring the delivery of overall financial objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with departmental managers to drive sales and increase membership subscriptions.
  • Uphold brand standards and ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols.
  • Support the delivery of capital projects and foster productive and harmonious relations with all colleagues.
  • Deliver high service standards in line with our member's expectations and be a positive ambassador and role model for our company colleagues.

Requirements

  • Three year's experience in management or a supervisory position in a leisure facility, golf resort, or hotel.
  • Polished leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to drive sales and increase membership subscriptions.
  • Hands-on management style, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to live or relocate to the Exeter area in Devon.
