About the Role

As a Business Development Representative at Deputy, you'll play a crucial role in identifying and nurturing new business opportunities within our target markets. You'll be responsible for building relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and demonstrating how Deputy's solutions can help them achieve their goals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Proactively research and engage with prospective clients across various industries to generate qualified leads for our sales team.
  • Conduct initial qualification calls to assess client needs and determine their suitability for our solutions.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Deputy's products and services, tailoring your approach to each individual prospect.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system to ensure a seamless handoff to Account Executives.
  • Consistently strive to meet and exceed established quota targets, contributing to the overall revenue growth of the company.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a quota-carrying sales role within a SaaS environment, demonstrating a track record of success.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with potential clients.
  • Strong time management abilities and the capacity to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for technology and a genuine interest in understanding how our solutions can benefit businesses.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
