About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Specialty Business Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and development, while providing exceptional client service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and revenue expansion.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their business needs and objectives.
  • Account Growth: Analyze client data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and expansion, developing and implementing strategies to achieve these goals.
  • Insurance Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and development.
  • Global Business Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement global business solutions, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Senior C-Level Engagement Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of driving business growth and development.
  • Commercial and Contractual Engagement: Significant experience in commercial and contractual engagement, including relationship management and negotiation.
  • Global Speciality Insurance Market Experience: Experience working in the global speciality insurance market, with a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  • Global Enterprise Relationship Management: Experience managing global enterprise relationships, with a focus on driving business growth and development.
  • Specialist Focus: Strong specialist focus on specific products, with the ability to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
Desired Qualifications
  • Self-Sufficient in Client Relationship Management: Ability to manage all sized client relationships, with a strong focus on building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Software Delivery Lifecycle Experience: Experience working in the software delivery lifecycle, with a focus on driving business growth and development.
  • Global Speciality Insurance and Reinsurance Market Experience: Experience working in the global speciality insurance and reinsurance market, with a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  • CII Qualified: CII qualified, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Other Related Professional Qualifications: Other related professional qualifications, such as Lean Six Sigma or Project Management.
