Position Overview

About This Role
As a Sourcing Lead within the procurement team, you will spearhead the execution of sourcing category initiatives and oversee supplier management processes. Your role will involve forging robust collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders to shape business objectives and anticipate future trends and needs. You will manage all tasks in accordance with relevant organizational policies and risk management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating as a vital member of the Customer Sourcing category team focused on Insurance, Pensions & Investments, and Motor, alongside a group of sourcing specialists, to contribute to the ongoing evolution of the category vision and objectives.
  • Assisting our Insurance, Pensions & Investments teams in fulfilling their commercial requirements through the implementation of effective sourcing strategies that align with their business targets.
  • Cultivating and maintaining essential relationships with key partners, fostering commercial acumen by questioning established practices to enhance the organization's commercial value.
  • Keeping an informed and current understanding of the fund management services sector, managing crucial supplier relationships to gain early insights into innovative product developments, enabling you to support the Group's transformation efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Expertise in sourcing, with a strong background in contract negotiation and procurement category management, preferably in consumer products, though not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing sourcing projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, influence, and translate strategic goals from business partners into actionable sourcing strategies and deliverables.
  • Track record of building relationships with key internal stakeholders and demonstrating success as a trusted business partner.
  • A positive, resilient, and adaptable approach, with a history of thriving in dynamic settings.
