Role Summary

In this role, you will spearhead sourcing initiatives for Legal Services, focusing on effective spend management and optimizing commercial and risk outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Contributing to the development of category strategies that reflect market conditions while optimizing ownership costs to ensure sustainable strategic direction.
- Identifying cost-saving initiatives that align with organizational targets and objectives, thereby driving down costs and enhancing value for services.
- Cultivating strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to elevate their understanding of sourcing and support sourcing initiatives.
- Leading cross-functional teams through the sourcing process, leveraging economies of scale through effective contract negotiations and supplier management.
- Ensuring contractual terms mitigate risks effectively, providing high-quality services to the organization.
- Collaborating with supplier management teams to establish a robust governance structure for supplier contracts.
- Monitoring and reporting financial benefits against targets, identifying potential risks proactively.
- Conducting all activities in compliance with relevant organizational policies and risk appetite, ensuring an efficient and auditable sourcing process.
- Staying informed about market dynamics and specialist areas to ensure optimal contracts meet client needs.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in sourcing within the Legal Services category is essential.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Legal Firms.
- Excellent negotiation skills are a must.
- Ability to work independently while providing technical guidance on project management.
- Proficient in identifying and managing risks within a production process.
- Familiarity with SAP Ariba sourcing and contract modules is highly desirable.
- A background in Financial Services is advantageous.
