Procurement Manager

We are seeking a strategic thinking Procurement Manager to join our dynamic procurement team in the healthcare sector. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in developing procurement strategies, policies, and processes that enhance our supply chain management and deliver best value to our projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our project objectives and requirements.
- Provide market intelligence, cost advice, and supply chain performance management to support our procurement decisions.
- Work closely with our procurement team to deliver project procurement objectives and requirements.
- Support the procurement and estimating team with tendering, market analysis, and supplier selection.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure best value to our projects.
- Negotiation skills and experience of working within the construction industry or similar.
- Legal and contracting law knowledge and experience of managing, planning, and structuring operational procurement resources.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to deliver robust procurement strategies.
- A measured approach to decision making and the ability to ensure best value procurement.
- Experience of CIPS or working towards CIPS is desirable, or chartership in another discipline such as CIOB or RICS.
