Position Overview
About the Role
As a Sourcing Manager within the procurement division, you will spearhead the execution of sourcing category initiatives and manage supplier relationships effectively. Your role will involve fostering strong collaborative partnerships with senior stakeholders to shape business priorities and gain insights into emerging trends and requirements. You will oversee all operations in accordance with relevant Group policies and within the established risk framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating as a key member of the Customer Sourcing category team focused on Insurance, Pensions & Investments, and Motor, while contributing to the ongoing evolution of the category's vision and objectives.
- Assisting our Insurance, Pensions & Investments teams in fulfilling their commercial objectives through the implementation of effective sourcing strategies that align with their business aims.
- Cultivating and maintaining essential relationships with key partners, encouraging innovative thinking by challenging traditional practices to enhance commercial value for the organization.
- Keeping an informed and current understanding of the fund management services category, managing critical supplier relationships to gain early access to innovative product developments, thereby supporting the Group's transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in sourcing, with substantial experience in negotiating contracts and managing procurement categories, preferably in consumer products.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing sourcing projects in fast-paced environments.
- Strong ability to articulate, influence, and translate strategic objectives from business clients into actionable sourcing strategies and delivery plans.
- Successful track record in building relationships with key internal stakeholders and serving as a trusted business partner.
- A positive, resilient, and adaptable approach, with a history of thriving in constantly changing environments.
