Position Overview
About the Role
As a Sourcing Manager within the procurement division, you will spearhead the execution of sourcing category initiatives and manage supplier relationships effectively. Your role will involve forging strong collaborative partnerships with senior stakeholders to influence business objectives and anticipate future trends and needs. You will oversee all activities in accordance with relevant Group policies and within the established risk framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating as a vital member of the Customer Sourcing category team focused on Insurance, Pensions & Investments, and Motor, working alongside a group of skilled sourcing professionals to advance the category's vision and mission.
- Assisting our Insurance, Pensions & Investments teams in fulfilling their commercial requirements by implementing effective sourcing strategies that align with their business objectives.
- Cultivating and maintaining essential relationships with key partners, promoting innovative commercial thinking by challenging traditional practices to enhance overall value for the organization.
- Keeping abreast of developments in the fund management services category, managing crucial supplier relationships to gain early insights into new and innovative product offerings, thereby supporting the Group's transformation efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in sourcing, with a solid background in contract negotiation and procurement category management, preferably within consumer products.
- Experience in leading and managing sourcing projects in fast-paced environments.
- Strong ability to articulate, influence, and translate strategic objectives from business clients into effective sourcing strategies and implementations.
- Demonstrated success in building relationships with key internal stakeholders and acting as a trusted business partner.
- A positive, resilient, and adaptable approach, with a track record of thriving in dynamic settings.
