About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Gas Supervisor to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for delivering maintenance tasks to the highest standard, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Task Delivery: Organize, plan, and communicate maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks, meeting Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track maintenance tasks, ensuring works are completed according to agreed plans and to the satisfaction of customers and regulatory authorities.
  • Safety Performance Monitoring: Regularly review safety performance with the HSE&Q team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Safe Systems of Work: Ensure all Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments are understood and implemented by the team, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates to the EMCOR Management team and customers, maintaining daily contact and attending meetings as necessary.
  • Subcontractor Management: Supervise, coordinate, and manage Specialist Sub-contractors as required.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACS gas and OFTEC qualifications, NVQ or equivalent gas or plumbing qualification, and relevant industry experience.
  • Experience: Domestic / Commercial Gas - Oil and LPG experience, Gas catering or refrigeration experience, or willingness to be upskilled.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to safety and quality.
