We are seeking a Multiskilled Engineer with an Electrical specialization to support our operations in a vast multi-acre facility. This role involves being part of a dedicated maintenance team responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance across various buildings and numerous plant rooms. While the primary focus is on electrical systems, candidates should be comfortable engaging in mechanical tasks, HVAC systems, compressed air maintenance, restroom facilities, catering equipment, and roller shutter door operations.

Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) according to established schedules, ensuring compliance with engineering standards to enhance operational efficiency and reliability of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Maintain adherence to engineering standards in line with Health and Safety regulations.
- Keep accurate records related to electrical and mechanical maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to all electrical and mechanical reactive maintenance requests.
- Coordinate initial actions for client requests and liaise with specialist subcontractors as needed.
- Address call-outs and manage breakdowns related to electrical and mechanical services.
- Conduct fault diagnosis and repair tasks for PPM and reactive maintenance.
- Maintain and repair lighting and distribution systems.
- Assist other trades as required, demonstrating flexibility across disciplines.
- Provide detailed reports on work performed and equipment status.
- Undertake miscellaneous tasks as directed by the client.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and safe task completion.
- Develop a basic understanding of site systems and their interactions.
- Perform LSP duties in accordance with L8 guidelines.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- C&G part 1 & 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or equivalent qualification.
- Health and Safety training, including knowledge of risk assessments and method statements.
- Experience in maintenance roles with a focus on fault diagnosis and rectification.
- Familiarity with electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules.
- Proficient in electrical installation work, testing, and inspection.
- Solid understanding of critical and non-critical building systems.
- Experience with CAFM PPM Management Systems (Concept) via handheld devices.
Desirable:
- C&G Electrical Inspection and Testing (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition IEE Electrical Regulations certification.
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Basic mechanical understanding.
- Awareness of COSHH and handling of hazardous substances.
