Are you seeking a rewarding and dynamic position within a supportive administrative team in the Maternity Services sector?
We are in search of several Band 3 Maternity Services Coordinator positions. These roles will involve flexible hours across various areas of the Maternity Services, with successful candidates primarily assigned to one specific area while also being prepared to assist in other areas as needed. Opportunities for both evening and daytime shifts are available, and working hours can be discussed during the interview process.
This position offers a significant opportunity to enhance and develop the skills necessary for a career within the NHS. The ideal candidate will join a collaborative and forward-thinking department that values teamwork and a proactive mindset.
As a Maternity Services Coordinator, you will frequently be the initial point of contact for all visitors and patients in our Maternity facilities. A professional appearance and a welcoming demeanor are essential.
While prior administrative experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided on our NHS systems. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and possess a positive attitude towards challenges, both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all patients and visitors accessing Maternity Services, including Triage/Labour Ward and community teams.
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support to the Maternity Triage/Labour Ward, reception, and community clinicians.
- Manage patient filing and tracking efficiently.
- Organize your workload to ensure the delivery of an effective service.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as ultrasound and clinical wards.
- Conduct your duties in a manner that positively contributes to the department.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to the Trust's GDPR policies.
