Job Summary:

Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and organized Pathology Coordinator to support the Pathology department. The successful candidate will act as a link between the department and other clinical departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Pathology department by coordinating specimen handling, dispatch, and transport, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of laboratory results.
  • Manage the safe handling and maintenance of equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure correct segregation of waste, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with clinical departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities, ensuring quality services are delivered to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
  • Ability to work with numbers for billing and revenue capture purposes.
  • Venepuncture and ECG skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle clinical material in a safe manner.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
