Pathology Department Liaison

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pathology Coordinator at Circle Health Group.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Pathology department by acting as a liaison between the department and other clinical departments, including Ward and Theatres.
- Perform tasks associated with specimen handling, dispatch, and transport in an effective and correct manner, managing the dispatch of laboratory results.
- Ensure safe handling and maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure correct segregation of waste.
- Commit to delivering high-quality services to internal and external stakeholders through continuous improvement activities.
- Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
- Able to work with numbers for billing and revenue capture purposes.
- Venepuncture and ECG skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to handle clinical material in a safe manner.
- Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
