MICE Sales Executive - Large Events

Antony James Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking a dedicated MICE Sales Executive specializing in large-scale events. This full-time position is based in London and involves both proactive and reactive sales strategies.

The role requires a commitment of 39 hours per week, offering a competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

As a MICE Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be managing large events with a capacity of 100 or more attendees. This includes converting inquiries into bookings and meticulously planning events. You will collaborate with various hotel departments while ensuring a professional and approachable demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by exceeding expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations.
  • Check availability, prepare quotes, and facilitate event planning.
  • Coordinate with departments such as Sales, Accounts, and Marketing to optimize revenue and establish appropriate contracts and payment arrangements.
  • Accurately invoice clients for services rendered.
  • Conduct site visits as requested by clients.
  • Prepare weekly function sheets and manage general administrative tasks.
  • Assist with smaller event planning as needed and undertake additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar role, particularly in reactive sales.
