Position: MICE Sales Executive - Large Events
Antony James Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking a dedicated MICE Sales Executive specializing in large events. This full-time role is integral to our client's operations within the hospitality industry.
The successful candidate will work a standard 39-hour week and will be offered a competitive salary, reflecting experience and qualifications.
As a MICE Sales Executive, your primary focus will be on managing large-scale events, catering to groups of 100 or more attendees. Your responsibilities will include converting inquiries into bookings and meticulously planning events, while collaborating with various hotel departments to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations and offerings.
- Check event availability, prepare quotations, and oversee the planning process.
- Coordinate with departments such as Sales, Accounts, and Marketing to optimize revenue and finalize contracts and payment arrangements.
- Ensure accurate invoicing for clients.
- Conduct site visits as required by clients.
- Prepare weekly function sheets and manage general administrative tasks.
- Assist with smaller event planning and undertake additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role, particularly in reactive sales.
