Position Overview

Astute People is collaborating with a reputable organization that operates a network of anaerobic digestion facilities. We are seeking a dedicated HSEQ Support Coordinator to assist the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) team in upholding and improving safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for gas detection alerts and lone worker device monitoring during business hours.
  • Support sites in completing asset management registers and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) requirements.
  • Assist with emergency planning, response drills, tests, and scenario planning.
  • Maintain the approved vendor list and manage the questionnaire processes to ensure quality compliance.
  • Coordinate with sites to ensure timely completion of Action Plans and inspection findings.
  • Facilitate statutory inspections and LOLER inspections.
  • Occasional travel to various sites across the UK to assist the HSEQ team with surveys, documentation reviews, assessments, calibrations, audits, and inspections.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A relevant degree or diploma in HSEQ, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable).
  • A full UK driving licence (essential).
Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone with:

  • An understanding of renewable energy and energy from waste.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Visio.
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of up to £29,000 (depending on experience), an annual bonus, and a pension scheme.
