Position Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a proactive Administrative Support Coordinator to provide essential assistance to the Senior Leadership Team within the Child and Adolescent Eating Disorder Service. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of clinical services, which focus on supporting young individuals and their families.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with a team of seasoned administrators. Strong organizational skills, forward-thinking, and exceptional communication abilities are vital. The capacity to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team is crucial. While prior experience in the NHS is beneficial, comprehensive training will be provided.

Candidates must demonstrate robust communication, prioritization, and administrative capabilities. A flexible approach to service demands and creative problem-solving skills are essential. Experience in managing deadlines independently while maintaining confidentiality is also required.

Key Responsibilities

This position primarily supports the Senior Leadership Team, with responsibilities that may evolve based on service requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating effective communication by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the team.
  • Managing diaries for team members, including scheduling appointments and meetings to optimize workflow.
  • Utilizing electronic systems to input and retrieve information as needed by the management team.
  • Participating in and contributing to relevant internal and external meetings.
  • Handling correspondence and communications, prioritizing and coordinating with the team.
  • Upholding a high standard of customer service, demonstrating dignity and respect towards all internal and external clients.

General administrative tasks will also be performed to support the broader Business Support Team, including accurate data entry into Trust electronic systems, maintaining both paper and electronic records, minute-taking during meetings, diary management, recruitment processes, and liaising with other teams and agencies as necessary.
