Position Overview

The Educational Support Coordinator plays a pivotal role in assisting the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDCo) to elevate academic performance across various subjects. This position also entails leading the Nurture Provision within the educational framework as the Provision Lead.

As the Educational Support Coordinator and Provision Lead, you will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive environment within the institution. Working in tandem with the SENDCo, Therapy Lead, educators, and administrative personnel, you will deliver specialized assistance tailored to address the diverse needs of students and help them navigate learning challenges. Moreover, you will provide targeted support to individual learners and specific student groups.

This role is particularly suited for an experienced Special Educational Needs Teacher who is committed to improving outcomes for students with varied and intricate requirements. You will encounter both challenges and rewarding moments in a school that emphasizes a robust safeguarding culture, valuing student input and participation in decision-making processes.

While prior experience in a Special Educational Needs setting is beneficial, exceptional teaching skills, enthusiasm, personal attributes, and resilience are equally important.
